Musical Theatre Audition Workshop

Kari Smith and Robby Coles are offering a Musical Theatre Audition Workshop on Saturday April 10, 2010 from 10:00am - 12:00pm. In this dance and acting combo class, be ready to learn how to use your skills to land the role of your dreams in a musical. In the dance portion, learn a dance audition combo as well as basic steps that are frequently used in musical theater while also learning tips on performing choreography as well as how to nail a dance audition every time! Then work on your acting skills a bit while you get tips on cold readings and characterization techniques used in musicals. Dress in moveable clothing and wear jazz or tennis shoes. No preparation necessary and all ages and experience levels welcome! This is a great workshop opportunity for anyone interested in auditioning for Gypsy later in the weekend!
