Towne Centre Theatre has begun a tradition of partnering with local charities for the past several productions, and this show will continue that effort in several ways. We have partnered with My Team Triumph Team Long Brothers of Middle TN, a 501c3 organization that raises funds to support individuals with disabilities participate in athletic events such as triathlons and races. This charity provides racing chairs, uniforms, and other equipment, and it also pairs these individuals with racing partners and sponsors. TCT patrons can get involved in many ways, including participating in our “Make a change” campaign. When patrons come to see the production of The Boys Next Door, they can bring in extra change that might be scattered around the house, and donate that at the Team Long Brothers display in our gallery room. Or, patrons can make a cash or check donation as well when they visit the theatre to see the show. Towne Centre Theatre is honored to support a charity that coincides so well with the message of The Boys Next Door… that people with disabilities can do anything they set their minds and hearts to. For more information, visit http://www.teamlongbrothers.org/index.html. Past charity partnerships have included the Catholic Charities, Department of Children’s Services, Literacy Council of Williamson County and The Oasis Center.
